Conservation of energy- suck up wind power or tidal power and something will change. But I'm thinking that the wind/tidal farms would have to be huge to make an global difference.

So that boring reading of essays to see what the students' thought processes are is better shoveled off to a machine that has no concept of what is being written. Go read TFA, it's a pathetic essay. Somehow the last 3 generations of my family's teachers managed to teach and grade and get us all into college. They even spent after hours with the kids who were slower learners. Amazing how standards have fallen.
Yeah, this and not being able to make change without a machine telling you what it is. My family has a contest when we go out to see who can figure out the bill + tax to the cent fastest. Kids are getting pretty good at it. (But they haven't beat me yet, but it's only a matter of time)

Perhaps the next iteration, "Poison Ivy," will be the sexy version? The "Poison Ivy" movie girl and 'Poison Ivy' girl from the Batman movie were rather sexy. Or am I just wandering around a dark closet here by myself?
Otherwise you'll get canned around 40 anyway. Your experience is now "too expensive" to management. Especially now with the glut of recent college grads who will work for peanuts just to have a job above McDonalds level.

From TFA, it actually sounds like the person was leaving, not getting fired. So he/she had to turn in whatever stuff before physically leaving. The summary sounds incorrect.
That's the difference between the stock market and fortune tellers/horoscopes- the 1st one you're legally expected to tell the truth, the 2nd one you're expected to... um, say nice things? If the fortune teller has soft hands then maybe nicer things?
