How about the condensed matter that white dwarf stars are made of? Nuclei bouncing about in an electron soup. Heat it and it shrinks! This stuff is held up by the Pauli exclusion principle for crying out loud, it has to be another form of matter
How about neutronium? this stuff is weird, governed by the strong force.
The post processing software that rectifies the images released today was written in Python. So is a new shell interface for the more general IRAF data processing package.

Did you see the TI DLP or the JVC-Hughes ILA presentation that was shown at Lowes/Paramus in NJ ? I ask because at the time JVC had a superior presentation: http://www.dvdfile.com/news/special_report/product ion_a_z/digitalprojection2.htm. I only saw the Paramus show and can attest to it's incredible quality. At the time Lucasarts made 2 custom digital transfers, one for each projector: http://www.theasc.com/magazine/sept99/phantom/fx3/ main.htm I know that JVC has made improved systems since then but I don't know if they are doing any AotC screenings. It would be a shame if Lucas went with an inferior system because of cost/business considerations.
