Umm, no. I didn't even know you existed until long after Better Facebook was established. Social Fixer had regular expression filtering long before FB Purity did. I have never installed FB Purity, downloaded it, or looked at its code.
I don't do it to benefit them, I do it to benefit the people who use the site. Although they certainly don't do many things right, I don't share your view of their evilness.
Oh, and I also create other things. This just happens to be fun and challenging. I'm not trying to change the world.

If that were the case, you'd think they would have gone after AdBlock Plus by now, wouldn't you? Or at least removed their official Facebook Page?
Wow, what a great memory! I've done a variety of things. The IRTC was always something I was kind of proud of starting. It turned out well :)
I added this feature in the past and had to remove it because none of the extension hosting sites (google, mozilla, apple) would accept it.
This kind of attitude is why people don't take you seriously, and why Facebook bans you. *shrug*

I had that feature longer before FB Purity. He may have been inspired by my implementation ;)
