I'm a certified StarBand installer / Retailer. I have a system running on an RV. I solved the problem by having the owner complete the Certification process on StarBand's web site. I did the initial install (Starband sez this is required by FCC regs). They travel North America, happily doing their web thang from wherever.
I have also networked the connection, using WinProxy. While it works, it sucks. The StarBand server returns 863 speed results, but the machines beyond the firewall / proxy are slightly faster than a 56.6 modem.... I need ideas to speed that up....
