I bought a 15C in '82, as a 17 yr old and after a lot of work saving for the necessary 200$ (or thereabouts, never was very good calculating prices. I still use it. Does matrices, solving equations and integrals. I still love it.
Come to think of it, when my twin daughters were ready to be born after just 5 months, it was an HP contraption that detected it, allowing the medical staff to take action, so they could stay in their mothers tommy for another 2 months. Probably did the same for much more children.
