I don't think it's a good idea to monitor your baby sitter, and you'll be too tired to use a video monitor on your child. However, relatives and friends will probably want to take a look every once in a while. When our first son was born, we set up a web cam (Axis 2100) sent a link out to friends and family. I also had it archive a jpeg every minute and made a stop motion video out of his first few months of life. You can see it here: http://krider.org/tmp/2002-07.rm
I think that RMS and his sympathizers have an extremely naive view of what it will take to win this war. There are going to be extreme limits on privacy and mobility that will become only stricter as time passes. War is the antithesis of civility. Will you complain about a lack of civil rights when your food and water are rationed? When you cannot travel freely from city to city and state to state? When you are drafted? Being forced to serve in the armed forces is the ultimate violation of civil rights, and that is exactly what happens in a war. Everything will be directed toward winning this conflict. Note that I don't necessarily want this to happen, but this is what is going to happen.
Am I the only person who thinks its funny that people are complaining about software that highjacks their content when they installed the software in the first place to steal someone's elses?
Untranslatable. It is neither the best nor the worst of a book that is untranslatable.

I once had to debug about 100,000 lines of code where the author had #define'd malloc to be phalloc

From their site: We charge commercial customers based on the volume of Curl content executed. This is a non-starter.

I'm a Mormon and I don't agree with either position. Oh wait, you said moron. Nevermind.
Everything that I have read by Philip speaks of extreme arrogance, and that is as much to blame for his downfall as any VC's
