ok... my mistake, infrared and radio are on the same side regarding the visible spectrum. but.. wavelength is still massively different between the two.
infrared--> 10(-4) while FM---> 10(2) and AM---> 10(4) (sizes in meters)
infrared is the quickest, safest, non-visible light source we can use, after that, its ultra violet, x-ray, then gamma.
they're babies, not computers or robots that society can just upgrade when they feel like it. it seems that people have lots of answers for making the artificial womb more "homey"; music, voice recordings, touch.... but what about the parents? is mom going to carry around a fake belly? i think that people appreciate something more when they work hard for it. i'm afraid that if this becomes widespread and accepted, we will end up with disposable children.
believe it or not, radio waves are actually light waves found way the heck at the end of the spectrum (on the same side of ultra-violet in relation to the visible spectrum of light.). infrared on the other hand, is just outside the visible spectrum next to red. the radio waves have a shorter frequency by far, compared to the infrared which travels at a much faster rate. put it all together and what do ya get? more info is able to travel on the faster infrared beam. just one question, is it possible to use your internet connection to change channels on your neighbors tv? that would be a rockin' prank.

A professional Graphic designer using PCs? must have been one for quite some time since the masses have switched to Apple. As for me, I have only used Mac, both in college and work. Apple has caught up to and passed the speed of standard PC's. Don't believe me? vrooom
4). Mac users seem to be an elitist bunch. They look down on people that actually write software and enjoy tinkering with computers.
its next to impossible to get everyone to agree on what the best computer/system is. but.. programmers tend to use microsoft/linux based computers, and the graphic designers like their macs. why? because those are the best tools for their respective fields. team them up and you get kickin' programs that look damn good.
I've noticed something, with each release Apple makes, the Macs become more functional. In the first days of the fruit flavors, software was scarce. Now that Apple has caught the attention of the computer public, more software is available, along with hardware goodies. No one has really mentioned OSX. It's got Darwin! ( so excited!) Now not only can iMacs be stylish, but oh so nerdy. The next step for Apple would be to make a gamer-friendly computer. It would rock if Apple made something people could open and modify the guts inside, cuz right now all that anyone can do right now is add RAM. Joy. Apple is going to continue improving by leaps and bounds, and don't be surprised if more people abandon PCs for Macs.... still floppy-free...
How long have cd's been out anyway? mid 80's? sheesh. thats a long time since this is the age of technology. I've been curious as to what new form music will come in. Looks like mp3's... so why won't the record company embrace the new technology? Everything around us is becoming more compact and convienient, we just want our music to be the same. Record company is sly enough to figure out a way to make a profit off of this newer technology, but they want to throw a temper tantrum instead. what a shame!
does it really matter if the voices sound like a celebrity's or not? a voice is a voice. this is going to cause more harm than good, weirdos getting ahold of this and accusing uncle walton of god knows what. blah. no sir i dont like it. my puter talks to me, (mac) and i prefer the cold robot mispronunciation from the speakers! id take that over an imitation of sean connery any day... maybe i should reconsider my view.... hmmm.... yesh.
