I'm just taking low level design for my BS in CS so i'm no expert, but it seems to me that...
All the clock does is tell the CPU when to execute the next instruction. Well, the voltage change also drives the execution, but the voltage change takes place when the clock tells it to. What if the next voltage change took place when the last instruction said it was done. Why wait 1/800 x 10^6 seconds for a register load which is done in less than 1/3 that time (and register loads are VERY common). If the last instruction executed signaled the Program Counter to fetch the next instruction when it was done....voila! faster computing!

Not that this hack journalist doesn't have his own shortcomings, and not that the MS empire hasn't actually fallen yet but... This guy is right about how Gates screwed up.

There are 2 key areas that I believe BEos has over OSX. 1. Programming.->BEos is easier to program. (I found it to be anyway. I'm sure others will differ). 2. The user interface is more "Mac Like" than OSX. I believe that more of the "Mac Faithful" would have preferred the Be experience to the X experience.
There USED to be technical people on this forum. Now the only people who post are kids with too much time on their hands and Microsoft (or other new Linux Co.) salespeople using forums as a sales platform. It's sad, but the days of true Linux advocacy are over. It's now big business.
