titled "Why linux will lose the desktop war." I found it quite informative. It was discussed a few days ago on slashdot (oh sorry.../.) and it genereated a few thousand childish and petty responses, but what do you expect from the average slashdot reader? Some people just can't except the fact that their choice for a desktop OS blows the goat they rode in on.
i think the notion of free content is bogus. if you want useful information you should expect to pay for it (or pay some entity to help you find it). who among you would not pay a small fee to use a search engine that found exactly what you were looking for the first time without advertising, bad links, or junk?
slashdot's free...and look how useful it is.
i checked the article and they actually said "...4 billion." It's friday and brain go off now so i don't want to do math, but good ol'/. just left off that last word. the only reason i read this site is for stuff like this (remember the Apple/OS x thing last week?) and to watch linux users get pissy with each other.
next on slashdot...linux found on UFO in government warehouse. does this mean linux can handle TIME TRAVEL too?!?(!!!)
