    First of all, i'm brazilian and i know how the situation actually is around here.

    So, before you start to stereotype all brazilian people by calling us 'internet iliterate', get yourself some encyclopedias and study a little about our country.

    YES, everybody knows Star Wars/Trek.
    YES, everybody knows videogaming history.
    YES, all childs know what the heck Lego is. I myself have plenty of them.
    There's a growing community of RPG players.
    Lord of the Rings is a nice fantasy history, but it's YOUR culture/folklore. We have our own.

    Let me tell you guys something. The internet here is everywhere. Everyone knows what it is and how it works. It's on the mainstream, and 99% of the population has access to the mainstrem (mainly television). Computers are on every corner too, BUT only middle class and upper classes can afford to buy... and that's why the government is trying to difuse the use of computers and internet for the lower classes. And giving free software some boost around here.

    Oh, and start to live in the planet Earth, not on your little bubble. Thanks.
