  1. IT'S NOT A TUMOR!! on Brain Tumor Vaccine Shows Promising Results · · Score: 5, Funny

    had to be said!!!

  2. 1 out of how many??? on Firefox Seeks Full Page Ad in New York Times · · Score: 0

Yea, I can see that the New York Times is a widely circulated news paper, but get real! How many people use a computer in the world...3 billion (just a number...don't nitpick) and the New York Times circulation is how big...??? (I'm sure the answer is out there somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look it up.) That should be the question! Most people like me that are generic geeks, not fanatics, use whatever is available on the machine that I'm given. Yea, I have a firewall and anti-virus software, but I'm not going to download yet ANOTHER piece of software to browse the internet. Especially if it doesn't render pages correctly. Get over it.

Oracle is getting to be as bad as the Evil Empire Microsoft. We run an Oracle shop and pay boatloads of money a year to support.

  4. Keep it UP...US government! on WorldCom Fraud Doubles · · Score: 1, Insightful

At this rate and with all the companies they are investigating, the government is going to single handily destroy the US economy. Sure some company's are lying about their books...but let's look at the governmental books and see how many places we can find fraud there!!

  5. Rat Bastards!! on Managing a Global Programming Team? · · Score: 0, Redundant

Being a code-monkey that works for bananas, I would give my left nut for $40 - $80 an hour. (The fact that I'm female would make it a little difficult though). There are thousands of newbie programmers in the US that would probably work for half that and are just as fast as the third world programmers.

I work with a group of 5 programmers that can each spit out hundreds of coding lines a day.
DON'T tell me that the Americans are lazy you Rat Bastards!!

  6. Why, Oh Why Microsoft?? on Music Industry Forcing WMA standard? · · Score: 1

The thing that really just pisses me off is that it IS "another fine M$ product".
Why couldn't they use a third party vendor. If M$ keeps it up, they will be a monopoly! HAR!
