Organisms change over time. Simple. Genes bear this out.
You are "not a creationist". You "don't give a damn where we came from", so I would guess you are not interested in evolution,history, geology, cosmology, genetics. Not informed, I would surmise, because you don't care about the subject. How can you then call something "crackpot speculation"?
In one paragraph you state "But truth is truth..." and in the next you state "There is always more than one way of looking at things". Which is it? Or is it the one truth that there is always more than one way to look at things?
