I didn't remember reading anything about lawsuits. Another thing everyone needs to keep in mind is that the isps might actually like this. Think about all the bandwidth that would be freed up if file sharing went away. I think big isps like excte@home would love it.
Maybe that is why you don't hear them complaining.
