I think we should be particularly careful
about monopolies when they are monopolies of
media outlets. Monopolies may not always cause
harm, but they certianly have the potential.
A large media outlet has enormous potential
to influence public opinion and maintain their
hold on power even after they have caused harm.
If we wait until they cause harm, they may be
much harder to stop.
