I still dont get how black holes can crunch matter and enrgy into infinite nothing ?
From my understanding of the operation of a black hole, matter and energy do not become "nothing". They are simply reduced to zero volume. Because we have no direct observation of the behavior of matter under such extreme conditions, we can't say with any certainty exactly where it goes except to a singularity (You can fit a great deal of zero-volume matter/energy into a single point).
