i had a premonition about this.

they will put us in pods and use our bodies to create energy, controling our minds with their superior technology.

Stop the terror before it begins - kill the machines now while we still can

  3. do you really think they'd bother on MS Passport: "All Your Bits Are Belong To Us" · · Score: 1
although microsoft is the devil incarnate according to many of the users here, they must have some business sense otherwise they wouldn't be making so much money. Sure they have stolen stuff in the past, but that stuff was easily available. Wouldn't it be a far more cost effictive solution to hire a few more good programmers as oposed to having people search through the billions of communications on passport in the offchance they might find something good that they can steal and get sued for.

    Highly logical

kids have a natural tendancy to play voiolent games, stop them from having toy guns and they'll pretend that a stick is one

it's not the kids who spend all day playing violent games who go and kill poeple, it's the kids who spend their time out on the streets with the drug dealers and gangs, who learn that the violence is something they can use on real people

maybee the effort that is going into banning something that is not going to stop should be redirected where it's needed more

    >Corel did NOTHING for Linux. At all. Don't even try to defend them.

thats not true, corel has a good name in the software industry, someone who is new to linux or just thinking about using it might see that there are well known companies out there willing to make an investment in linux and therefore be prepared to try it themself.

the more people who use, or try, or are even just interested in linux the better it is going to do, so even if corel just provided advertising they still did some good

yeah, wouldnt it be nice if everytime another processor was released it got faster by another Ghz, or maybee in a few years that will seem incremental and they should wait for 10Ghz jumps.

When people are bying a system they like to see that the processor they are going with has the potential for upgrade, and you can see that the technology really is progressing in a line far more with these increments as oposed to promises that a bigger jump will happen in a year
