I hate to admit it, but Microsoft were probably right about the browser becoming irrelivant. The web should now be integrated onto the desktop as it is with any desktop worth using.
Um almost. There was an idea for supplying broadband through the power network by sending a high frequency through the power cable. Unfortunatly it was dropped due to the low bandwith available / cost and ADSL/Cable modems arriving first.

A case made out of a carved out tree stump would be much cooler - If just a *iddy bit* heavy (and you could sit on it too.)
