    Since it sounds like you're planning to deploy this within a cubicular environment, I think you can adapt the spring-loaded "jumping" element to fold out the displays on your webpads, sacrificing your rovers' ability to hop over obstacles. The alternative, however, would be to find a way to run the X interface in scrolling mode along the surface of the rovers, so that what your users were interacting with was always displayed on the visible surface.

    I suspect you may have a bit of trouble with your building's security folk if they happen to see you coming in with the grenade launcher for remote deployment, though, so you may want to bring it in disassembled for the live demo.

    If your proposal looks to be going south, having the grenade launcher with you gives you, ahem, another modality for response to criticisms provided you bring along a few samples of what can normally be deployed with a 40 mm launcher.

    The opportunity to provide clear and concise feedback to the reviewers' smallminded thinking, to paraphrase from an old .sigfile.
