Thank you, but I'd rather stay with my less secure Linux. Not because I hate Microsoft or someone told me it was more secure. The reason is my personal experience with Linux and with various Microsoft Operating Systems. I know it's kind of early to judge Vista alone, but I do see a pattern in Microsoft products security.
Bottom line is I think that Bush talks a lot about making us all safer, but does the opposite.
He only cares about his personal agenda, not our safety. He made a lot of new enemies for us. He ignored terrorism threats before 9/11, and after that, instead going after Bin Laden, he decided to invade Iraq, riding on the wave of opportunity when he could hint that Saddam had something to do with 9/11. I remeber Bush saying that he will hunt Osama down, that he (Osama) "can run but he can't hide". And what? Osama is alive and well.
Sorry for all of you Bush supporters, but to me, he's just a big mouth, and a master of bullshit.
I'd suggest StarOffice. So far, I was able to open any M$ Office document (with the exception of VBA code in them), and save in M$ Office format. There is also Windows version, which could greatly help in migration.
I have Thinkpad T21. One of the first things I did was replacing winmodem with modem-ethernet combo by 3COM, which works great. And IBM's service is great. I had a problem with the power supply (noise) and after a caal to tech support they sent me a new one - they didn't even want the old one back.
Except that Sasha is actually a male name (russian).

... Larry Niven's "Ringworld".
Now we are going to have "current addicts", besides potheads and such.
