Yes, I'm sure it is disgusting, but when you let people's opinions and their expresseion thereof change your actions, you let them win. And I urge you not to think for your friends -- let them make their own judgements. After all, that's the key point behind freedom of expression, isn't it? Finally, if you avoid confronting an opinion you feel is wrong, you're really waiting for someone to come along and do it for you. Don't wait -- when "they" come along, it's likely that they'll be wearing jackboots!
