Clothing brands have own-label stores in outlet malls. There's been at least one Sony shop in Dublin, Ireland for probably about five years. This doesn't seem like news to me.
bobbies? if you're going to use slang, you'll look much less silly if you use it correctly. In this case you're in danger of making it look like you assume that the Republic of Ireland is part of the UK, which rarely goes over well.
Thanks are due to Jason A. Lefkowitz for spreading awareness about Ms. Grubb, but his article is a textbook example of hyperbole. He takes four reasonably long paragraphs to get to ANY level of factual information. I can understand laying out a few facts and THEN telling us how she and/or her campaign are going to change the world, but it took a good deal of skimming to get around all the hot air he's put in there.
Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know what happened to netradio.net? I used to listen to their stations all the time. I stopped for a bit, and when I tried to go back yesterday I find that they seem to be completely off the air. Even their nameservers aren't up.
The "cheerleaders" piece screamed `revenge', not journalism. It seemed more like a piece written by someone in high school, trying to use the same petty meanness against cheerleaders that he apparently received from them. Asking someone you don't like obnoxious and/or offensive questions is not always funny.
Tsk. Five years abroad and I've forgotten my fundamentals :)
