I only saw the three hour version but I thought it was quite good. In fact, I saw it before I read the book. I admit, the book was better when I did read it, but, standing by itself, the movie was definetly one of the better ones out there.
If you were keeping complete medical histories I would have a real problem with this. However, its only going to be messages. Assuming you delete the messages after a reasonable time frame...say 5 days (the user can, of course, save the message to their machine before this) and you make them pick decent passwords (plenty of discussion on this before) I would think it would be fine.
Perhaps get the system up and then work on version 2 that allows more security for those who want it? Preston
I don't know about you but if I was writing crypto code I am sure I would be tempted to throw in names like this just for my own enjoyment. (and to mess with the minds of the other programmers of course). While it does have to be looked into, it really does sound more like a joke on the parts of the programmers.
