He has already agreed to make apperences at the UCSC Linux user group, so hey, I don't even have to care about talking to him online. Sorry, I hate to gloat. I just couldn't resist. It will be very cool, though.
Actually, it has better midi, as far as it matters. I has the same hardware and system as AWE 32 and 64, but has support for up to 256 simultanious voices. That's the only diff, as far as I know, and 256 is far more than you need, of cource. You would need that if you where going to comploses a symphony in midi.
Just wondering if similar drivers would work for all the features of the Bjc-4400. Also wondering about getting the scanner cartrage (IS-22) working under linux.
