Seems to be allot of misconception here about what a space plane is; Skylon is a purpose built true space plane, SpaceShipTwo is NOT.
That said, let's get a grip, he was a paid employee and knew what he was getting into. It was voluntary, he still deserves to be mourned and not spat on because he was doing it for a space tourism company.
