You need a compact flash reader to get the image from your computer to the flash card. SanDisk has one for about $20 that works flawlessly with Linux. I make backups of my Audrey to flash (it has a built in flash reader/writer) and then dump them to my hard drive on my Linux box. So if I ever totally hose Audrey hacking, I can backtrack to a working image.
Audrey is kind of useless, but it is a LOT of fun to hack! I've almost got bottlerocket working on it for X10 control, which would make it a little more useful.
So has anyone been able to get an ACD working with an x86 machine? After several emails to ATI asking if their Radeon could do 1600 x 1024 I gave up. Their tech support people are clueless and never gave me a straight answer. I am dying to get this monitor, but must have verification that it will work with SOME card under Linux and Winblows (gotta play Quake (I know you can play in Linux, but I am still on libc5 (don't ask))).
For good behavior, if she can manage that.

Build against libc 5 and you eliminate all compatibility problems. I do it and it works great.
