I'd put them in the ER. Why all this BS people are posing about photos at the beach or airport security? That isn't what this is about, it's about sicko's taking pictures up your skirt! Why do you think they call it "upskirting"?

  2. Re:Has this been a large problem? on Mass. Legislature Strikes Back: Upskirt Photos Now Officially a Misdemeanor · · Score: -1

In the past, the solution to this was simple. People were selected out of this behavior quite simply - if seen doing it other people would beat them up. Now though it is illegal to do that. So you get these creepers who are emboldened by the fact that nobody is going to slug them - and boom, you need a new law. Honestly a couple of right hooks are what these folks need and they won't do it again.

This behavior has not been possible until the wide spread use of cell phone cameras. I'd give a guy a good beating if he did it to me, he'd have to take a trip to the ER. I've learned the courts are useless when it comes to protecting women against sexual mistreatment.

Wish it would be a felony! Those upskirters deserve at least 5 years in jail. Going to court over a misdemeanor is a waste of time.

Stupid, it's not about being comfortable, it's about men violating women's privacy to get their jollies. It's about men sticking a camera up a woman's skirt to take pictures. That's not the woman's fault, that's the man's fault, no matter how short the woman's skirt is.

I'm not saying they need to, but that's it's fun to think of them being shot, videoed, and laughed at as they twitch and die. As for being tagged, guess you could put "sex offender" on the tag on their toe. And not "men", the men who do the upskirting. How many times do you think people would have to post videos of that on YouTube before the upskirting stopped? And it has nothing to do with "moral outrage sensibilities", it has to do with men sexually mistreating women.

You are horrible. The guy wouldn't be on trial for being a deviant, but for invading that woman's privacy.

The only rational place you can draw a line is to say: if you don't want it seen, don't hang it out where it can be seen.

That line gets a lot fuzzier if/when people start using infrared/ultrawideband/whatever to see through clothing. I suppose the argument then will be "if you're not encased in lead shielding every time you leave the house, you're pretty much asking for nude photos of yourself to be posted to the Internet".

Granted, that's not a problem yet, but the technology exists. The problem in both cases is that the difference between "what can be seen" and "what people think can be seen" is growing as technology advances. Skirts make an assumption that nobody will have a line-of-sight view from directly beneath you -- an assumption that was never entirely valid, but is a whole lot less valid now that technology has given people access to discreet digital cameras that they can easily position at floor level.

Not saying women should do this, it's just fun to think about. But if women started killing these guys, and putting videos of their deaths online, things will suddenly stop being "fuzzy".

We see the woman's foot kick him in the head and hear her laughter and his life ends. Too bad there isn't a hell for people like those guys to burn in. If guys don't want gaping holes in their skulls and chests, they will learn they shouldn't stick a camera up a woman's skirt.
