Also I have done little work in Delphi lately, exactly because most of my development is now done on Linux. If and when Delphi/Linux comes out, I'm sure to take a look at it.
I specially appreciated that they ask on the survey what widget set we'd prefer!
KDE used CORBA first, worked with multiple languages first, etc, etc.
Then you know the answer to a question that's been bugging me for a long time: Where are the Objective-C bindings for Qt/KDE? I'll never develop for KDE if I have to work in C++...

Search the FreeBSD site for "Wilfredo Sanchez". He is the BSD (and now Darwin) leader at Apple. You'll find his (i.e. Apple's) contributions.
