This happens to me every time I turn on my PC. It gets as far as the initial diagnostics, and just before it would display the LILO prompt etc it hangs. A reboot fixes the problem.
I have a PIII-450 with a Chaintech BX motherboard (I think). If this is a faulty product, perhaps I should ask for a refund!
It's quite easy to fit a spaceship inside a small blue box. Haven't you heard of transcendental engineering?
