    No. The app drawer in normal Android is always sorted alphabetically, and can't be changed. You must be talking about some weird vendor thing.

    AFAIUI, option 3 is unrealistic, as the big email servers black list dynamic IP addresses, or well, IP address blocks used for home internet connections.

    Please use "ip route" ("ip r") instead of "route" (and "ss" instead of "netstat"). The net-tools package is not really active anymore, modern day Linux uses iproute2.

    This is completely off-topic, but to clarify: net-tools has been deprecated for ages: ifconfig, route and co. were replaced by ip; and netstat was replaced by ss. ufw is an Ubuntu project, and not a standard tool, so it's really not unnormal to not be included on a Debian live disc.

    Last I looked, it's on the todo list, but properly suspending tabs requires storing their actual state, and that's not really there yet. Though there were some experiments with just killing the renderer (tab discarding): https://developers.google.com/... (see end for tab serialization).

    The point is: If your chargeable device has an USB C port, it should be chargeable via that port, no matter what. Everything else is just stupid and confusing.

    It was supposed to be very easy to do, the standard requires the USB logo to be up, so you could feel that and plug it in. In practice, some cables or ports are the wrong way around, though....

    Sure, go to Chrome, Settings, Search Engine, and select what the fuck you want. It even learns new search engines when you visit them. You can also replace the assistant with any third party app, there's a setting for it (oddly enough, Firefox registers as one, and gives you a search bar when you long press home). And well, default apps: You could always get all gapps or none.

    I/O related lock ups, or well, extremely long hangs, were finally fixed in 4.10 with writeback throttling.

    Well, the standards often just have some tiny editorial changes from the last drafts, and the last drafts are available, so that works sort of OK.
