Compare those quite rare artist at those times with the enourmous production of content today.
I would suggest that there was similar or greater production of original content in those times. However, only that which was truely exceptional has survived to this era. For some reason I doubt people will care about N'Synch (or 99% of the content we produce) a hundred years from now.
If the current system of "protection" is so beneficial, why is it the Disney has to ripoff every one of their story lines?
Hmmm. . . Perhaps our lack of personal responsibility follows the lack of corporate responsibility. After all, wasn't the corporation created to avoid personal responsibility in the first place?
And since we put the government in place, doesn't that make us the real bad guys? Just like what benefits corporations really benefits "us"? Oh, I get it now. . .
