I am suprised no one mentioned the Euro, I work for a Bank in Ireland and althought no one is working tonight. The are people in the rest of the holidays. The way some people are going on about it you would have thought somebody just happend to mention to them about it on Friday. We aren't Even one of the major banks here so I would have thought all across Europe more People will be either working or oncall. More in line with what happened for Y2K than a normal festive season
I haven't used many linux distors, but Suse looks for a braile display when you try to install it so it would be a good try if you fried is looking to intsall linux on his own.
I can`t remember the exact name, I thinks its CYBORG, but they make a joystick that comes with a little tool and you can move or adjust it from both left hand to right hand and also for big or small hands. It wasn`t even that expensive only about 45 quid here in Ireland so you should be able to pick it up in the states for less than 45 dollars
I was in Chicago last year and I was trying to make a call to my aunts which is where I was staying but I didn`t know the number and talk about complicated.
I wasn`t sure of the area code and the operator was looking for a credit card and they wouldn`t take my one and then they wouldn`t connect me.
I ended up having to by a pen and paper so I could write the number down just to ring her, There was no details on the phone about how to ring the operator and prices.
Here in Ireland they phones are all clearly mark so you can ring the operator and other details you will need.
All I here is how bad the broadband internet access is in the USA or Canada, My heart bleads for all of you, At least you have a chance at broadband unless u live in one town in Ireland which our Telecomunications company was testing broadband you haven
Surely if they don`t conform to the Redbook standard exactly they will no longer be marketable as music CDs
If they sell them as such and they will not work in a player that will play music CDs there are commiting a crime ie, improper description of there product
