I have three desktops and one laptop at home. All of them accept one are running Ubuntu Linux. I don't have a TV so I depend heavily on Netflix and blurays for entertainment. Unfortunately, neither are supported in Linux so I run Windows on one machine connected to a projector (well, until the projector died a little while ago:( ). I gave up PC gaming for a Xbox 360 (without xbox live) so I don't have to dual boot any more. This helps me stay productive as well. I'm a software developer and my employer allows me to run develop in Linux. If they forced me to use Windows, I would not be working here.
I've been using Linux for 12 years or so and loved it from the start. I may have to switch back to Debian soon. Both Gnome-shell and Unity are not ready for the public. I gave each and honest try, but neither are customisable enough and performance degrades over time (memory leaks). FINISH YOUR SOFTWARE PEOPLE!! WTF......
