I see this larger problem everyday I go to work. I'm still in college, but during breaks I work at Old Navy and I deal with some of the biggest jerks and idiots. I'm a cashier and I get treated like crap on a regular basis. People returning stuff they stole or complaining that these pair of jeans were suppossed to be X price when the ring up Y. Since working there, I've really begun to hate people. I really feel like choking some of them and saying "Wake Up!! Despite what you think, the world does not, nor will it ever, revolve around you!!!"
Only problem is that I can't stand up and demand better from customers...I just have to sit here and be their door mat.

I guess since Microsoft finally realized linux was kicking its ass, they decided annoy current customers in an attempt to gain more support for their dying OS. Someone should give that marketing guy a raise!

I seem to remember DVD's having that too, but we all know what happened to that "protection" don't we...
It's just a matter of time before someone figures out the encryption...and until then we should not buy ANY cds at all. Seems that money is the only thing that talks to the RIAA

The smaller, local teams to which you refere to are mostly owned by MLB teams. So the halting of watching/supporting of MLB teams while supporting their farm teams doesn't make logical sense. The MLB teams will get their moeny either way with this idea.
