There is already a fair amount of computer science research into this. BPP algorithms make use of randomness to deliver a "pretty good," that is, bounded error, polytime answer to problems that would otherwise take
NP time.
The Bill of Rights does not give YOU the right to do anything. It prohibits the government from making any law that infringes upon your rights, but private individuals can censor you as much as they want.
You exchange money for value. Just because you think that it is somehow the social responisbility of the drug companies to ensure that you get legitimate drugs, doesn't make the process any cheaper.
Even if there were a government subsidise or some way to keep the price of the drug from going up, that just means higher taxes, or higher prices on some other good.
No matter who "pays for it," in the end, we will all pay for counterfeit drugs.
I wonder if the "open source community" will be offended by IBM offering money for what should be "free"? --- "My boss says we need some eunuch programmers"

I'd assume that they arent recovering the plane because there wont be much to recover after its smashed to pieces after hiting the sea at mach 9 or so, and all the little bits will probably be scattered for miles. (after all, it will be traveling 1.7 miles per second)
So unless the chiness plan on searching several square miles of the ocean floor for small pieces they might be able to piece together, I don't think we have a thing to worry about.

As I understand it, the musicians only make pennies on each CD sold, the vast majority going to the Label. Their real money comes (as I understand it) from the mercs they sell (mostly)while touring. Which would explain why they tour so dang much, its not to satisfy their fans, touring is bloody tiring.
