Technically, the best french fries are made in horse fat.

But to my knowledge, only 1, perhaps 2, shop still do so.
    Good places use beef fat.
    bad places use vegetable oil.

    Nokia 770 or n800

I own a 770, it does an amazing job as handheld web browser/ebook reader.

With fbreader, you can rotate the text and hold the reader vertically in one hand, the thumb right on the pageup/page down switch.

I don't like reading pdf on it, however.
    Too slow.

The n800 may have the memory and processor to handle large pdf. I never tried it, however.

Otherwise, an eee is great too.
Way bigger, but i think it could be usable in an hammock,

  3. Two reason beside goggle cache. on Google Relents, Publishes Belgian Ruling · · Score: 2, Interesting

I believe this decision to be stupid . I only ever access those sites through gnews. no more now.
But there are, i think 2 'real' reason behind this action, if you listen to what media people say here:

-targeted marketing : with google news, google get his marketing info for personnalised ads database. Not the newspaper.
i believe this is The reason behind that lawsuit. they dont care about their content, they know they will loose hits, they know people dont read the news on google cache but come to their site, but direct ads marketing is where the money will be (already is ?).
-Also, many 'paper'newspaper are dying now, surviving only with local info. So, they rely more and more on news agency feed for internationnal/nationnal news, usually changing the title and 2 words before publishing it. gnews make that very obvious, when 5 newspaper had exactly the same text, linked next to each others...

i heard tvnews site have got a 30% up hit since they are still on gnews, with a 25% down on blocked site.

    salt, pepper
pepper, cayenne, (lemon juice for some taste).
    .
melt butter in pan, low heat, till liquid and golden. take out whatever is floating, put aside to cool down a little.
put egg's yellow in metallic pan, add water (one soupspoon per egg).
whip till more or less homogenous
start cooking, low heat (70-80 C)
(If unsure or using electrical heating, use a 'bain-marie', take a bigger pan, half-filled with water. heat water to small bubble state, put egg pan in it. )

Secret is to never stop whipping, using a 8 move .
(if t goes to high and eggs start to coagulate, take out of heat, add some crushed ice, rewhip, restart.)
whip till you can see the shape made by the whip stay , and the bottom of the pan through it
take out of fire, add salt and pepper, start adding (luke)warm butter while still whipping. eventually, and especially if making lots of it, put back on low fire to keep it warm.
add whatever addon you need (lemon juice and cayenne usually)
(adding crushed tomatoes give sauce aurore, adding cream give sauce mousseline)

    serve warm.

    bon appetit

(sorry for clumsy english ... )
