And financially reward Dice for their crimes....? Hell no. Unacceptable. I will not be satisfied until all Dice executives and employees, down to the janitor and secretary, are living under a bridge and dumpster diving for their next meal.

Someone just needs to make a new website, and let this turd circle the drain.

How hard could it really be to duplicate and/or improve upon the site design, let alone the self-described editorial staff? Use the classic low bandwidth style, HTML/CSS only with only a tiny smattering of Javascript as UI sugar, and get rid of all the Web 2.0 garbage. Maybe even put in some God damned Unicode support, and rethink the karma system so good comments don't get buried under bad moderation. Design the site right and seed it with interesting (and timely) stories, and it will take off, while this place turns into a graveyard in short order.

Fuck Dice with a sword for ruining what was once a great web site.

Why--just fucking why--does the entire Western world have to be overrun by such imbeciles?

    God help us all.

The internet is already fucked up. Seriously.

After reading all the comments in this discussion, it's clear to me that nobody here has the final word on this subject.

A few have posted their ideas which approach the truth, and are being blasted for it. I love it. Makes me sleep a thousand times easier at night.

Not going to explain to you why you're wrong. I can guarantee you'll figure it out eventually; when the right product hits the market.

As to what is and is not anger... you have no insight into my psychology.

Actually, any intelligent person reading this thread does know a great deal about your psychology.

To put it simply, you're a moron. Morons literally cannot think for themselves or evaluate an idea objectively. Everything has to be subjective, tied to a particular name or face, so that your pea sized brain can sort and categorize those people.

Morons do not have the intellectual capacity to evaluate ideas; you evaluate people--and quite poorly at that, since your focus is actually on attacking and proving yourself superior, not in getting to the truth of anything. Which is of course why you fail time and time again to make any kind of logical argument, preferring instead to be an insulting asshat who cries bitterly about people "hiding" in anonymity.

Your favorite argument, the ad hominem (followed closely by the sockpuppet downmod) loses a considerable amount of power when a person's comments are not neatly indexed by their name for you to label, and demonize accordingly. That's why it enrages you so much that people post anonymously. It makes you feel powerless against them. Which you are.

Learn to respect and worship the power of God, rather than your own pathetic self, if you'd like to begin to understand why people in this world do know a hell of a lot more about you than you give them credit for.
