One of the main reasons for not having a Linux version of many apps is the lack of any common distributable format for Linux. App vendors certainly feel discomfort to provide hundreds of versions for different distributions. Do you have any comment on that? How can we encourage companies/vendors more to distribute their apps for Linux?
