I'm sorry but I have been working on Unix systems since V7 and SCO is a piss poor Unix. If you ever had to port apps to many *nix system, and I have, SCO is always the odd ball system. They seem to make bad choices in thier implementation but still follow the letter of the law as far a standards go.
In fact if you look at many Open source packages there is often a disclaimer about SCO or the binaries are not available for SCO.
I for one am very happy that we have droped support for SCO at my current company.
