But that isn't the point. Pumatech probably already has used a similar feature in Intellisync and they're trying to extend it to the web. It is a stupid idea, except to lawyers and their ilk at the Patent Office who seem to think that any process can be patented for their gain. I don't agree with other posters that its a free country and that they deserve to gain for their "ideas"; I doubt that there's anything new in their patent.
