Yes there is Holographic memory, One of my Friend is studying at the ETS (Ecole des Technologie Superieur or Superior Technology School) in Montreal and they have some. He told me that the thing is really amazing fast and huge in storage space for only a few cubic centimeter. Reserch on holographic memory isnt over yet. We don't here much about it. But It surely not dead...
