Well as a fellow AI researcher, I would not find it weird that DB didn't do the same move twice, somewhat depending on when in the game the move was, a great number of AI brute force algorithms rely on stochastic variables that can slightly affect the outcome..(e.g. Monte Carlo based searches)
I guess Kasparov as a non AI researcher would find it weird though, and thats why he started investigating.. I still feel that DB beat Kasparov fair and square, as no chess player would directly mention for every win he had that he had a team of experts behind him(most have); cause it is the norm in top GM level chess.
As i understood it, the last SPE was used for "security" reasons, maybe it is used by sony for the Hypervisor mechanism. In any case, the last SPE is not the one driving the kernel... And I also got that a licensed PS3 developer, could use the last SPE, don't know whether that applies to Linux though..
well, for one the supervision of TLD policies and top-level DNS server policies, is by far less demanding than running WHO by any standards.
And claiming that politicians doesnt have insight enough into the aspects of internet, and that they will eventually, if UN are granted the control, base their decisions upon the explorer view of the internet shows me that you dont have any "+5"-insight into the matter. The fact is that politicians take decisions that are based upon semi-techincal insight into fields they have never touched before every day, in every country. And the reason they can even try to do this, is that this is their job; quickly understanding underlying structures that should affect their decisions, often helped by consultants explaining it to them(this is one back door many lobby groups use to affect politicians).
I cant say this is how it's done in every country, but i most certainly know this is how it's done in most western industrialised countries, as well as in UN.
As with me adding you as "foe", was an overreaction from my side, another reason for me doing that, is that i just added some ppl as friends, and found the "foe of friend" icon to be quite usefull and wanted to try it the other way around(foe of foe/friend of foe):P
Can someone please tell me why parent is "5, insightful" i have never seen such bad reasoning (..politicians dont see internet for more than IE..), and the WHO example? oh come on!?
please, feel free to mod me down along with parent:)

tell me , why is this flaimbate ?? I see lots of truth in this reply . i cant see one untrue statement as a matter of fact. I have a certain feeling patriotstic feelings belonging to the moderators have been strong while moderating this reply.
actually , The Gathering is officially the biggest temporary Local Area Network in the world . It is a world record , set in 1999 , even though The Gathering has grown bigger since then , they havent done it again , guess they havent seen any reason to make it bigger , since no one else is near them in size , i think the record was _something like_ 4000 ports networked together in 24 hours. i would like a followup on this , im interested in the actual number of this world record
