It's very interesting to read your posting and certainly find what your state of mind is.
My question for you is...what are you doing in order to change the situation ?
you mention the "...you cannot believe how low is the IT knowledge in gov.ar...", do something to make things change.
I don't really believe that economics are related to IT issues...having so many free stuff, it's impossible to blame it on the IMF or whoever you may think of.. evidently you're just tired of that but aren't helping much to make things change.
I think it's a very smart move..It's just a matter of usability, costs and brain...that way people will be able to really apply their potential to open source software and help to end the OS monopoly..
It won't be easy to defeat the power of the Imperalism, but there is enough energy behind the Open Source Movement to make changes happen.
