Anybody has perchild_mpm working ok? I've seen in the announcement that some perchild_mpm problems had been fixed but looking at the sources I guess that it's still in the experimental zone.

Without any doubt this is gonna be one the preferred methods:
Yep, I can't see a damn thing! It's not too difficult to detect the platform and use another set of fonts. In fact we're doing this... and Altavista is surely much powerful than us!!
