We have some of the best Network Engineers coming from all over the world to build the lan that is the backbone of QuakeCon. They will be starting work on it 4 days prior to the opening of the doors.
And guess what? Every person that is on the staff and volunteer staff do this for free or actually pay out of their pocket.
And I can't see anyone bitching about 1ms pings. I saw a peak of 28ms ping during peak gaming last year, and thats with alot of peeps running their own servers on the lan.
BTW - Don't bother bringing any Network equipment other than a NIC for your comp. The other stuff will not be allowed in. Leave it in your hotel room. Not even patch cables. We will supply everything else network related.

Last year there were a total of 18 women in the BYOC area...as opposed to 2,100 men...He was obviously taking into account the very HIGH ratio differences in male to female attendance and then thinking 'women love to travel and all these guys can't be alone in life so they must be at that mall I saw coming in'
Why not use all that energy you got to argue about the starving kids under the overpasses in your city and ask the Save the Children foundation why we are feeding kids in other countries and letting our own starve?
Next you'll be arguing that he doesnt jiggle his pecker enuf after he pisses or some shit...

No - it's caused by poor people without the gumption to do what they must to overcome the hardships in life to attain a monetary stability.
And people like you who have never been outside your candy-coated lifestyle really have no clue.
There are niggers, jews, wetbacks, white trash, polacks, and any other deragotory ethnic slur you can think of out there. We use those terms for the assholes of a race. You got a Pole and you got a Polack, Black folk and Niggers, City folk and White trash...etc.
I'm Polish and I get called and hear the term 'polack' alot. It is as deragotory as the word 'nigger'. Call a Pole in Chappell Hill, Texas a 'polack' - see if you don't get your teeth knocked in.
Anyway - Race Activist like yourself cause more problems than real racists - people like you instigate too much.
