Actually, telemusicvision uses Broadcast Machine, our video channel server software. It distributes the videos using bittorrent. I didn't mean for those sentences to be connected. Sorry.
Sorry about that. I never saw the video on TV. I put that in there because I thought maybe having a specific thing to try out might make them more likely to try our cool project. Plus I really liked the video.
I believe the plans are to make the channel guide settable through the GUI. If nothing else, I think a gconf key is in order.
You can also submit your channels to the main channel guide. I'm not sure what our policy is on things like porn, but I'm positive that you definitely won't be filtered out for political reasons.
And one of the things to note is that the Participatory Culture Foundation is a non-profit. There's no profit margin for us to sell out to.
This is useful, but one of the cool features of corner panels is that it doesn't require you to set the width. It sizes your panel to be the width that is needed for the set of panel applets you put there.
