Meybe many of you didn't read the article. The mistakes were not in the software (although I am sure there were software errors also) The mistakes were in the Tests and keys, grading procedures(training) etc.
I am sure none of you would be as eager to open source the tests as you seem to be about open sourcing the software. (although that would certainly improve the scores)
