above all of that, does it was a stupid idea to hide an information with just no link point it? u must make sure it's properly secure with access control like ip address or password of the visitor.

maybe some people it was not simple to build access control using some content management or any self build scripting. but i think it was so simple to use http autenthication whose provided by most web server.

I think we should not to be too cynical.

At least the decission that IBM has take will give a good campaign about the use of Open Source Software. It's better than any other big company decission who doesn't support the Open Source Software.

I think, the Open Source Software will not get any improvement if the people behind them always always get big suspiciousness over the other.

Because open source never has been, isn't, and never will be in competition with Microsoft.

Long time ago, OSS community and MS live together peacefully without the feeling of hate.

OSS community can make creations and innovation happily and freely, without any pressure. What a nice moment.

But then, the Redmonds are starting to fight the OSS community by some actions like using their monopoly power, pushing the DMCA up, etc.

Nothing can OSS do but to fight back. Because the MS's actions are threating OSS's life. And the war begins.

    I missed the peace time.
