Too bad something like this wasn't around last
year when I was graduating highschool. Maybe
those colleges that rejected me would think
twice... Not that this is a serious cryptography problem, but still.. one has to wonder:)
A regional manager for the FAA recently told me that the FAA is implementing all of it's new software on unix machines rather than whatever they had before.
This decision was made very recently, he claimed they were having his people go to "unix school".
That's sounds like a great idea, but what if I decide to connect my iBook up to it, and proceed to hax0r the gibson? Surely, they would have to set up some kind of surveilance so that the park bench doesn't become "uber hax0r HQ".
Then, they have the ethical question of cameras in public to deal with, which although less sensitive an issue in England, is still one of those slippery slopes that governments should tread lightly upon. (or not at all).
It's great PR, but I don't think it's going to work out.
Two days ago I replaced a 17" CRT with a 15" LCD, it's a KDS RAD 5. No dead pixels, and the quality is excellent.
I couldn't be happier with it, and I would dread going back to the 17" CRT.
I'm very fond of Seb's 3d Tetris for linux. ..
But let's not forget GTetrinet ah
I sleep twice a day for four hours at a time, with eight hours of wakefulness inbetween.
:)
Does this mean I will live longer, since I am not sleeping for eight hours per sleep session? But rather a total of eight hours in a 24 hour period.
It's 2am, and I have an 8am class tommorrow. Better hit the sack soon.
... har har har
RMS feels like Miguel should explain himself:
"GNOME is part of the GNU project, and is free software (some times referred to as open source software.)" --The gnome website, second line of body.
Not that I side with RMS, but hey.. that's what the website says.
