I'd be considerably more enthusiastic about this if Siemens hadn't been in bed with the CIA for decades.
If anyone here recalls when some swiss crypto company's salesman was arrested in Iran because their product had a backdoor, with their diplomatic communications being funneled to Langley.
One of the main points was that the CIA, working through Siemens had planted its own algorithm in the chips at some stage.
