    Go to a pawn shop and buy the oldest VCR you can get your hands on. I have an ancient one that I keep around because it will record ANYTHING, even those protected blockbuster tapes.

    I am very happy to hear this. I write a database agnostic product and PostgreSQL is the only one that is consistantly ANSI compliant.

    At last, I wont have to worry about getting around bubba and his double-wide on the highway anymore.
    Seriously, a huge percentage of highway and rail use is for construction materials. Check out the Department of Transportation's annual report. Focusing manufacturing into a few areas (close to the materials) would have a huge impact. This could shake up a lot of industries. The Teamsters better get into the blimp business fast.

    sure, its the old bait and hook. The advertising model obviously does not work, so why offer a free service unless you can use it to push a premium one.

    I hope not. A free dialup is extremly usefull when traveling or when the old dsl punts.
